The first teaser for Avatar The Way Of Water trailer is finally online for fans.
It was all the way back in 2009 (yeah, that makes us feel old) when we were treated to the visually epic sci-fi masterpiece that was so ahead of its time, and after over a decade of waiting we’ve got our first peek at the sequel.

What to expect from the sequel
James Cameron’s Avatar is the top-grossing film of all-time at the worldwide box office, with $2.84 billion.
It stunned movie buffs with its first release, encapsulating the world of Pandora in vivid details that made for a viewing experience unlike any other, and it looks like we’ll get exactly that the second time around.
Avatar: The Way of Water will see stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver return, while new cast members Kate Winslet, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement and Edie Falco will be joining the family.
The new film will take place predominantly in the ocean (hence the name) with the use of new technology capturing underwater footage, and will be set more than a decade after the events of the first. While the trailer definitely does not give too much away, it seems we will get to explore even more of Pandora. All we’ve got to go off is that it will follow the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their children), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
Avatar The Way Of Water Release Date
We don’t have a specific date yet, but it will be released in December this year following a host of other 2022 blockbuster movies to be released.
