The long-awaited and much-anticipated Friends Reunion is set to air May 27.
The unscripted episode with the original cast will air on HBO Max on 27 May after a lengthy delay.
While the teaser annoyingly doesn’t give us much of a glimpse of what’s to come and to what has actually been recorded. HBO has stated along with the original cast of Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, more than 15 celebrity guests would make cameo appearances including former cast members Tom Selleck (Richard) and Maggie Wheeler (Janice).
“This kind of thing doesn’t happen every year, or even every 10, or 15 years. I feel so blessed to have had a chance to reunite with my Friends … and it was better than ever.”
Jennifer Aniston shared on Instagram “Could we BE any more excited?!”
“This kind of thing doesn’t happen every year, or even every 10, or 15 years. I feel so blessed to have had a chance to reunite with my Friends … and it was better than ever.” said Courtney Cox on Instagram.
What we also know is that the cast will not be in character and will appear as themselves in the special, which was filmed earlier this year on Stage 24 of the Warner Bros lot in Burbank, Los Angeles, the same sound stage as the original comedy.
