Welcome to the Space Jam… A New Legacy.
Ever since the announcement of Space Jam 2 and that LeBron James would be taking over the team from Michale Jordan – we have been waiting for our first glimpse of the sequel.
The release of Space Jam 2 will only fuel the fire of LeBron v Jordan arguments, except this time it won’t just be able GOAT discussions of best basketball player ever, but now they will also be compared against each other for best Space Jam movie.

Space Jam 2: A New Legacy Synopsis
Dissecting the trailer – during a trip to the Warner Bros. studio, NBA Superstar LeBron James and his son get trapped within a world that contains all of Warner Bros.’ stories and characters, under the control of a malfunctioning powerful force named Al-G Rhythm.
James is then sent to the Looney Tunes world and with the help of Bugs Bunny he must make his way through a world filled with iconic movie scenes and characters as they re-assemble the Looney Tunes to rescue his lost son.
Of course to then get back home just like in the original, James and the Tune Squad have to win the epic showdown against digital super-versions of the NBA and WNBA’s biggest stars while the entire world watches.

Just like Jordan, James will team up with the Looney Tunes all-stars:
- Bugs Bunny
- Daffy Duck
- Porky Pig
- Tweety
- Sylvester
- Lola Bunny (voiced by Zendaya)
- and more
There will also be several special guest appearances from other NBA stars such as Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Kyle Kuzma; and WNBA players Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike, and Chiney Ogwumike.
Will Space Jam 2 be better than the original?
Well according to Space Jam 2: A New Legacy director Malcolm D. Lee;
“Space Jam: A New Legacy is a better movie than Space Jam. LeBron’s got that going for him.”

Space Jam 2: A New Legacy will be released in cinemas and via HBO Max on July 15th.
