Plot
“Wonder Park” tells the story of June, an imaginative young girl who, together with her mother, creates a model of an amusement park called Wonderland, which is full of fantastic rides and talking animals. When her mother becomes ill, June’s belief in Wonderland fades. However, she stumbles upon the real Wonderland in the woods, only to find it in disarray. June then embarks on a mission to save the park from darkness, reigniting her faith in imagination and discovery.
Cast
Sofia Mali lends her voice to June, perfectly capturing the character’s spirit and determination. Ken Jeong’s comedic timing shines through as Peanut, providing moments of laughter and lightheartedness throughout the film. While we loved “Wonder Park” for its celebration of imagination and also the determination and strength of kids — critics and audiences on Rotten Tomatoes weren’t as enthusiastic registering an Audience Score of 44%. IMDb rating wasn’t much higher with “Wonder Park” scoring 6.6/10.
