Based on the beloved 2015 series created by the brilliant duo, Thomas Astruc and Nathanaël Bronn – the movie takes us back to the beginning, unfolding the origin story of our favourite superheroine, Ladybug, and her charming sidekick, Cat Noir. In reality, these crime-fighting superheroes are just Parisian teenagers – the crafty Marinette and the suave Adrien.
Now, they’re not just battling homework and teen angst. These two have a city to save. A malevolent supervillain is intent on turning the City of Light into a city of chaos. Can Ladybug and Cat Noir put their heads together and take him down?

The Movie Plot
What’s the story, you ask?
Well, the movie follows Marinette, a shy and clumsy high school student at Collège Françoise Dupont in Paris. She dreams of making it big in the world of fashion. But fate has other plans for her.
Marinette finds both love and her true destiny – saving the world as Ladybug with her partner in crime-fighting, Cat Noir. The twist? Cat Noir, aka Adrien, is the son of Marinette’s fashion idol, Gabriel, who is none other than Hawk Moth, Ladybug’s nemesis.
The Setting – A Tour of Paris
