The show about nothing, Seinfeld will make its Netflix Australia debut on the 1st of October.
Is it October yet?
We are excited over nothing as Netflix finally announces the release date for Seinfeld after having acquired the show rights in 2019.
Netflix acquired the rights to Seinfeld in 2019 in what was of course a very expensive 5-year deal.
Why have we had to wait until October 2021 then?
The show was still under a streaming deal with Hulu in the U.S, where it has stayed through the middle of this year. The show has since left Hulu and will now be part of Netflix’s October lineup.
Will Seinfeld be on Netflix Australia?
In a tweet released today, Netflix Australia has confirmed Seinfeld will be released on Netflix Australia.
Netflix made the announcement on their Twitter account — stating all 180 episodes will be available on the streaming platform.

Of course, this isn’t Jerry Seinfeld’s first stint on Netflix.
The streaming giant is home to Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. Plus Jerry has performed Netflix Original comedy shows including the most recent 23 Hours To Kill.
Seinfeld ran for nine seasons on NBC, premiering in July 1989 and finishing up in May 1998. The show will forever go down as one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.
