The Lincoln Lawyer: A Synopsis
Created by Ted Humphrey and David E. Kelley, The Lincoln Lawyer tells the riveting story of Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia Rulfo), a lawyer who operates his practice from the back of his Lincoln Town Car. The first season drew inspiration from the second book in the series, “The Brass Verdict.”
The Second Season: A Two-Part Release
In a unique move, Netflix opted to release the second season of The Lincoln Lawyer in two parts. The first five episodes were launched earlier this month, and the remaining five are set to stream on August 3.
The second season takes its cue from Michael Connelly’s fourth book in the Lincoln Lawyer series, “The Fifth Witness.”
Why Split the Second Season?
Dailyn Rodriguez, the other showrunner, and Humphrey believed that dividing the season could allow the series to remain a prominent topic of conversation for a longer period. This move was also aimed at providing viewers with something to look forward to.
